The web site is used only for lawful purposes by individuals seeking employment and career information and by employers recruiting employees.

Privacy Policy

Information SFT Collects

Personally Identifiable Information: We may ask you to provide us with personal information about yourself, which is information that could reasonably be used to identify you personally (such as your name, address, or e-mail address), which we refer to as "PII," at various times and at various places on this Web Site. In addition, as part of our current and planned services, we may, at any time, add features to our Web Site that require you to register or otherwise provide PII, including credit card information, or we may require registration or a subscription fee to gain access to any portion of our Web Site. You can choose not to provide certain information, but then you may not be able to take advantage of or participate in many of the Web Site's features.

 

Safety First Training and Support Services / E. Carboni Consulting and Marketing Inc (collectively "the Company"), its subsidiaries and affiliates treat all personal information provided by you and collected by us during your application process in strict confidence. Your personal information will be protected by high standards of security.

Your personal information will be used by us to assess your suitability to assume the job duties of the position for which you have applied. Unless we are under a legal obligation to do so other than those listed below your information will not be disclosed to any external person or body:

1. employers of the position for which you have applied
2. persons under a duty of confidentiality to the Company
3. agents, contractors or sub-contractors providing services/support to the Company business operation.

It is our policy to store the personal data of unsuccessful applicants in our data base for future recruitment purposes for a period of 2 years. Please let us know if you do not wish us to retain your details for this purpose.

The Group will comply with the data protection legislation and will ensure that your rights are upheld. Under the Canada Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap.486), you have the right to access information that the Company holds about you and have your personal information corrected where appropriate. If you wish to access your personal information and/or have your information corrected, please write to or e-mail us. We reserve the right to charge a reasonable fee for accommodating your data access request.

Safety First Training (SFT) does not knowingly collect information from children under sixteen (16) years of age: This is not a web site directed to children under the age of 16, and SFT does not knowingly collect PII from children under 16 years of age. If you are under 16 years of age, do not send any information about yourself to SFT. If SFT discovers that a child under the age of 16 has provided PII, SFT will delete that child's PII from its system.

 

Non-Personally Identifiable Information: When you visit this Web Site, our servers automatically collect certain web site usage information. Web site usage information is non-identifying information that describes how our visitors use and navigate our Web Site, and it includes the number and frequency of visitors to each web page and the length of their stays.
